The Information We Collect

This Privacy Policy applies to all information submitted and collected by PRCo. PRCo is the sole owner of the information collected, and will use it only as described herein.

Business Information
If you register to become a Blue Book Member, we will endeavor to collect information from you about your business, such as trade name, addresses, telephone and fax numbers, personnel names and background, financial details, and the names of firms with which you regularly transact business. All such information becomes a part of the PRCo database which may be accessed by entities and individuals that utilize our services. Additionally, you may submit accounts receivable information and other information about other businesses and individuals, such as names, addresses, and your trading experience with these businesses or individuals. Similar information may be provided by others, members and non-members. PRCo may use this business information to create Products and Services (e.g., Online Business Reports) for sale to the public or to license the use of such information to our third party business partners. PRCo will not voluntarily disclose the source of any accounts receivable or trading experience information you may provide except in those special instances when we believe in good faith that such disclosure is required by law or necessary to enforce PRCo’s legal rights or to avoid liability.

Order Information
Members and non-Members may order certain PRCo Products and Services online. When you place an order via our Web Site you will be required to provide personally identifiable information in connection with completing the Order Form. The requested information may include such data as your credit card information, your name, trade name, addresses, and telephone and fax numbers. Such information will be used by PRCo and our third party online payment services partner, VeriSign, Inc., to complete your order, deliver the requested product or service, manage your account, provide customer service, and comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Neither PRCo nor VeriSign sells or voluntarily transfers this order information. (See sections on Necessary Disclosures and Data Security below.) PRCo may, however, use order information to update and verify the information contained in our Databases (e.g. addresses), including information used to create Products and Services, and to conduct market research and analysis.

User Content and Configurations
PRCo considers any user content or configurations (including notes, watchdog lists or saved searches) you store on the Products and Services to be confidential.  PRCo will not disclose, voluntarily transfer, use, or access such user content or configurations except as deemed necessary for testing and auditing purposes.   Please be advised that such user content and configurations will not be transferred to, or made accessible by, any other account, regardless of any change in the employment status of an individual.

Necessary Disclosures
PRCo. may access and disclose any information we have collected in special instances when we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact, or bring legal action against someone who might be violating their legal obligations to PRCo, or may be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) PRCo.'s rights or property, or other users of PRCo’s Products or Services.  PRCo may also access and/or disclose any information when we believe in good faith that such access and disclosure is required by law or necessary to avoid liability.

Cookies and IP Addresses
Cookies are small files placed on computer hard drive by programs and web servers.  In order to function properly, our Web Site requires that you allow us to place cookies on your computer when you access and use the Web Site. Neither PRCo nor VeriSign use or voluntarily share credit card information for any purpose other than described herein.
